Noelle Roldan had 19 points and Shannon Rankin had 16 points, eight steals and eight rebounds as the Napa High School girls basketball team beat Vallejo, 64-43, in a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Foundation Game at Bottari Gym in Vallejo Monday night.
A stifling defense was key to Napa’s win, as the Indians used a trapping attack. The Indians were ahead 30-16 at halftime.
Taylor Willis had 14 points, two rebounds and four steals. Tatum Souza had nine points, five rebounds and two assists. Maggie Wessell had five points, three rebounds and a steal.
Napa got solid play from its bench, including Jenna Priest, Morgan Benson and McKenzie LeMasters.
