Napa Fire Explorer Post 220 will hold its second annual holiday photo event Saturday.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can visit Napa Fire Department Station 1 and have a picture taken with Santa Claus on an antique fire engine.

The cost of a photo is $5, though families who bring canned food or Toys for Tots donations will receive a $2 discount.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Pathway Home at the Veterans Home of California in Yountville. The Pathway Home is a physical and mental trauma treatment center for veterans of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Fire Explorers is a program for youth interested in pursing a career in fire service. It is sponsored by the fire department and the Napa City Firefighter’s Association. Last year, the post raised $800 through the photo event, as well as collecting 250 pounds of food for the Napa Food Bank and 250 toys for the Toys For Tots toy drive.

Anyone who has a picture taken will receive the photo while on site. Pets on a leash that are well-behaved and under control are welcome.
