A Napa woman was seriously injured in a Sonoma County head-on crash Thursday morning.
At 7:55 a.m., Maricela Gutierrez, 41, was driving a Honda north on Arnold Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol. For unknown reasons, she veered across the double yellow lines into the path of a Ford truck driven by Rodeo resident Del King, 61.
The two vehicles collided. Guiterrez was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries, where she was in the critical care unit as of this afternoon.
King also suffered major injuries and was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
A 13-year-old girl riding in Gutierrez's vehicle was also taken to the Queen with moderate injuries.
Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the collision, the CHP said.
