Napa County's Children and Families Commission will hold a day long session designed to review progress to date and to set priorities for the year ahead.The meeting set for Wednesday, April 25 beginning at 5:30 p.m. is designed to identify gaps in services provided for children under the age of 5, to update the community plan and provide information on grant application.Light supper will be provided, and child care will be available. Those who are unable to attend are urged to fill out a community forum survey which will guide commissioners in their work in the months ahead.Further workshops will be scheduled with grant applications becoming available in early June.The programs are funded by Proposition 10 tobacco tax funds. The CARES program providing work incentives for child care providers has been a major recipient this past year.The meeting will be held at the commission office, 5 Financial Plaza, Suite 228.
