Jayme Whitmore, of Napa, and Milton Gallegos, of St. Helena, are pleased to announce their engagement to be married Aug. 1, 2009, in Napa.

Jayme is the daughter of Glenn Leech of Stockton and Cynthia Whitmore of Napa, and granddaughter of Charlene Whitmore of Walnut Creek. She is a 2002 graduate of Vintage High School and a 2008 graduate of Napa Valley College.

Milton is the son of Maurilio and Gloria Gallegos and grandson of Ignacio and Herlinda Gallegos, all of St. Helena. He is a 1996 graduate of St. Helena High School and a 2001 graduate of Pacific Union College, where he obtained a degree in exercise science. He is the St. Helena High School varsity girls soccer coach and assistant St. Helena Pumas U-11 coach, and works as a math and science teacher at St. John the Baptist Catholic School.
