Ryan Camera of Napa has been named one of three recipients of this year’s California Forestry Challenge Alumni Scholarship. A June graduate of New Technology High School, Camera was an outstanding participant in the 2007 California Forestry Challenge.
He will use the $830 scholarship money this fall at Humboldt State University, where he will major in forestry. To qualify for the college scholarship, students must have participated in the California Forestry Challenge. It is awarded annually to incoming college freshmen, sophomores, juniors or returning seniors enrolled in an undergraduate forestry or natural resource programs in California./Register
