What was your favorite homecoming moment and why?

My favorite homecoming moment was walking down the red carpet during the rally because I could hear all my friends cheering for me and being supportive.

Tell us about your dress and why you chose it.

We had to have three dresses for all the different events. My favorite was a long, royal blue backless dress with gold beads along the straps of the halter.  My other two were green and royal blue as well. I chose them because they looked good with my hair color and made my eye color pop.

St. Helena High School: Araceli Leon

What was your favorite homecoming moment and why?

My absolute favorite moment was being able to go dress shopping with some of the other queen candidates. It was amazing knowing that we all got along so well and we didn't have to worry about any mean competition.

Tell us about your dress and why you chose it.

My dress was something new and different. I left the final decision to my friends Sandra, Itzel, and Franco who chose a red ruched dress. It was fun and had a lot of personality, plus it was my school color.

I would love to thank everyone in St. Helena who helped me throughout the whole homecoming process. It was completely new for me. And lastly, I couldn’t go without thanking my mother and father for their support, my sister Isabella for her humor, my little sister Eliana for her patience, and my older sister Gracie, who even while studying abroad in Italy supported me and expressed her excitement about my accomplishment.
