Abigail O'Keefe and Christopher Edwards of Cedar Flat were married Oct. 2, 2005, at Fitzhaven Estate in an outdoor wedding ceremony overlooking Lake Tahoe.
Jennifer McGill was Abigail's matron of honor and her bridesmaids were Julie Telfer, Leanne Regan, Amber Gatej and Heather McGargill. The groomsmen were Paul Totten, Paul Nemeroff, Kevin Ford and Johnathon Strohl. Emily Totten was the flower girl and Liam McGill was the ring bearer.
Abigail and Chris held their reception at Wild Goose Restaurant in Tahoe Vista and honeymooned in the British Virgin Islands for one week.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Margaret O'Keefe of Napa and the granddaughter of Donald and Sybil O'Keefe. Abigail graduated from Vintage High School in 1991 and earned a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from California State University, Sacramento in 1996. She works as an associate planner with Kaufman Planning and Consulting in Carnelian Bay.
The groom is the son of Richard and Mary Anne Edwards of Cold Spring, N.Y. Christopher graduated from El Toro High School in 1992 and earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from California State University, Sacramento in 1998. He is employed by Squaw Creek Resort in Squaw Valley as a customer service representative.
