Melissa Maylene Ross and Steven Edward Adams announce their engagement to be married on March 31 at the Marriott Hotel in Napa.

Melissa is the daughter of Karen and Peter Ross of Napa and granddaughter of Flo and Toby Ptomey of Napa. She is a 1996 graduate of Napa High School and graduated from Wentachee Valley College in 2002. Melissa is employed by Your Home Nursing in Napa.

Steven is the son of Chuck and Nita Adams of Redding and Linnea and Buzz Perrine of Redding. He graduated from Shasta High School in Redding in 1987 and attended American River College. Steven is employed by Custom House in Napa.
