St. Supery's retired CEO named 'woman of the year'

Michaela Rodeno was honored by Bedell Investment Counseling, LLC as Woman of the Year for 2009 at their Women and Wine event at the Round Hill Country Club in Alamo.

At the event Rodeno was also the keynote speaker.

Rodeno recently retired as St. Supéry’s dynamic CEO after 21 years. She is one of the leading women in the California wine industry and a strong advocate of California wine issues.

 Rodeno co-founded Women for WineSense, a national organization promoting wine as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle, and served on the boards of California’s Wine Institute and the Napa Valley Vintners. Rodeno is a founding director of the Wine Market Council, an organization that supports marketing campaigns for wine with affordable market research. She also served as chairman of the Meritage Association from 1999-2005.

Bedell Investment Counseling LLC is a woman-founded, independent SEC-registered investment advisory firm that was started 34 years ago by Judith Bedell, who remains president of the firm.
