Blake Hanson has been named assistant director of human resources at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, in Sonoma. He is a graduate of Napa High School class of 1996.

Prior to joining Fairmont, Hanson was a recruiter and employment specialist at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, human resources shared services representative for Sun Microsystems in San Jose and human resources generalist and business partner for Regulus in Napa.

He also brings with him restaurant experience from Meadowood Resort, Calistoga Ranch and the French Laundry.

He has a bachelor of science in social sciences from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and a masters in human resources and organization development from the University of San Francisco.
