Intero Real Estate Services newest franchise owner, Mike Bolen in Napa, has opened Mike Bolen Fine Art, a New York-inspired urban art gallery adjacent to his downtown Intero Real Estate office.

As part of the grand opening, MBFA will feature two New York City artists: Guggenheim Award recipient Olive Madora Ayhens and emerging artist Guy Stanley Philoche.

MBFA, which opened July 2, will showcase the museum-quality artwork from New York City.

Bolen and gallery curator Iris Stubbs said they will showcase art that will make MBFA the quintessential Chelsea gallery transplanted from New York to the West Coast with exhibitions that feature the art world's most established artists and hottest emerging artists. MBFA will feature works priced up to $250,000.

Famed winery builder James Nolan remodeled the space with opaque glass walls, stained concrete floors and a suspended pane ceiling to give it the energy and spirit of an urban gallery.

MBFA even has a $20,000 espresso and coffee bar that clients can enjoy while in the gallery or the Intero office.

Artists Ayhens and Philoche will be showcased in the inaugural opening.

Ayhens colorful paintings and watercolors focus on actual and imagined environmental issues and are profoundly influenced by her environment. Her work is currently being displayed in The Kremlin, The Moscow and the Oakland Museum. She is a 2006 Guggenheim recipient.

Ayhens had a studio on the 92nd floor of the World Trade Center, most of which was destroyed during the 9/11 attacks. She was able recover six pieces from that studio which will be featured at MBFA.

Haitian born Philoche is an emerging artist on the New York art scene today.

He gained notoriety on the elite New York art scene for his work that has been described as "a beautiful organization of chaos." Philoche and his art have been featured in numerous national and international art and culture magazines and in The New York Times.

He has had exhibitions in renowned galleries throughout New York City and the Northeast, including a gala dinner that put his work alongside that of Yoko Ono, Jeff Koons, Chuck Close and others.
