Carla Christine Crawford of Napa and Colin Matthew Meusel of Aromas were married Aug. 1, 2009, at the Mission San Francisco Solano, in Sonoma.

The wedding party included the bride’s sisters, Lisa Crawford and MaryAnn Crawford, as bridesmaids; the groom’s brothers, Casey Meusel and Austen Meusel, as groomsmen; flower girl Cecilia Gudino and ring bearer Caden Pasqual.
A reception followed at the Sonoma Barracks, in Sonoma.

After the wedding, the couple took a three-week honeymoon in Guatemala. They now make their home in New York City.
Carla is the daughter of Christine and David Crawford of Napa, and granddaughter of Betty Cumpston of Napa and Barbara Crawford of Palo Alto. She is a 1999 graduate of Napa High School and a 2003 graduate of UC Davis, where she held a double major in studio art, and Italian language and literature, and a minor in art history. She received a teaching credential in 2006 from San Francisco State University in art education.

Colin is the son of Gayle and Irish Meusel of Aromas, and grandson of Richard Dangers of Sebastopol. He is a 1998 graduate of Anzar High School, and a 2003 graduate of UC Davis, where he held a double major in English and philosophy, and a minor in religious studies. He received a teaching credential and master of education degree from UC Santa Cruz in 2008.
