It was an all-Justin-Siena final in the No. 2 singles bracket of the Marin County Athletic League Girls Tennis Championships Wednesday, with No. 2 seed Rachel Carston defeating No. 3 seed Kelsea Thomas, 6-2, 6-4.

“The girls both played great tennis today,” said Braves’ coach Chris Swain.
Tuesday, in the No. 1 singles bracket, fourth seed Maja Jeramaz fell to top seed, and eventual tournament winner, Laura Posylkin of San Marin-Novato.

“It was a wonderful way to conclude the season for our team with a strong showing in the individual tournament,” said Swain.
The Braves finished the team season last week, losing in the opening round of the MCAL team tournament to Tamalpais-Mill Valley.
