Alex Nelson sparkled in goal during the first half, then moved to forward and scored the goal to spur the Crusaders to a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League win at Napa Valley College. Nelson’s tally came nine minutes into the second half and broke a scoreless tie with the visitors from Elk Grove.
Sean LaRochelle scored later off a pass from Anthony Kersting to put the game away for Trinity Prep. Goalkeeper Brendan Quinn completed the shutout in the second half. Curtis Friedlander and Joe Thornton played key roles.

Trinity Prep finishes its season 2-9-1 in league and 2-11-1 overall.
