NAPA - We mourn the passing of Ione Peggy Johnstone.

Jan. 18, 1929 to Nov. 1, 2009.
Wife of Franklin Bligh Johnstone, March 18, 1998.

Born in San Mateo as Peggy Holetz and a member of the San Mateo Notley family, descendants of Francis Notley who settled in the Santa Cruz Mountains in 1879.
She is survived by her three daughters, Pamela Cardinas, Kimberly Cipro and Stephanie Brown. She was the proud grandmother of Monique LeLonde, Margarite Cipro, Matthew Cipro, Kyle Brown, Christopher Brown, and great-grandmother of Olivia Villalobos, who will be getting a new brother or sister in January 2010.

Graveside services for the immediate family will be held at the Notley family plot in Santa Cruz on Friday, Nov. 6.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation. For information, please call (707) 257-4044.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Claffey and Rota Funeral Home in Napa. Condolences may be sent to www.claffeyandrota.com.
