Accident closes lanes on Highway 29

12:17 a.m. updateAt this time emergency crews are responding to a head-on collision that involved a sports car and a motor home along Highway 29 just north of Tubbs Lane.

Both lanes of traffic are blocked along the highway as crews are tending to the injured and investigating the cause of the accident. Check back for more on this story later in the day.
12:16 update: The California Highway Patrol is searching for the driver of the motor home, who allegedly left the scene of the accident and was last seen traveling in a silver pickup truck that was headed towards Middletown.

The motor home is partially blocking one of the lanes of traffic along Highway 29.
