CALISTOGA - John “Jack” Geary, age 83, a longtime resident of Calistoga, died Oct. 28, 2009. He proudly served in World War II in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret “Midge” Geary.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Calistoga Fairgrounds, the Butler Building, on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m.

The family is having a private burial at St. Helena Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to California Deer Association, P.O. Box 323, Calistoga, CA 94515.

The family is being cared for by Morrison Funeral Chapel, 963-3536.
