NAPA - Veronica “Vera” Marie Franck, 83, of Napa, died Oct. 27, 2009.

She was the widow of the late Gustav “Gus” Franck and had been a Napa resident since 1955. Vera was an avid gardener, loved to shop and go to the track to bet on the grey!
Preceded in death by her daughter Roxi, she is survived by sons G. Joseph Franck and wife Marie, Daniel P. Franck, David Franck and wife Karen, Marty R. Franck and Randal Franck; brother Melvin Hiermeier; three sisters: Cecelia Giometti, Monica Rogers and Rosella Tholberg; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial mass is Oct. 31, at 11 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Private committal will be at a later date in the Pringle Cemetery, South Dakota. Memorials may be made to the church.
Treadway & Wigger Funeral Chapel is serving the family of Mrs. Franck.
