The Calistoga Art Center invites the community to its first Soup-er Bowl, a feast of soups served in ceramic bowls hand-crafted by CAC students and instructors.

The soup is being prepared and donated by Calistoga restaurants including All Seasons, barVino, Brannan’s, Bosko’s, Café Sarafornia, Calistoga Inn, Checkers, Hydro, JoLe, Miguel’s, Nicola’s, Pacifico, Palisades and Solbar. Proceeds from the event support the Art Center’s ongoing programming.
Diners will vote on their favorite soup.

In addition there will be a silent auction of hand-crafted bowls of all types including wood, ceramic, glass and paper.
A raffle prize is dinner for eight at the Culinary Institute of America.

The Soup-er Bowl is Nov. 14, 6-9 p.m. at the Calistoga Art Center, 1336A Lincoln Ave.
Tickets are $45 and include a handmade bowl, bread and wine.

Tickets can be purchased at local Calistoga businesses including Funke’s and Calistoga Cellars, or by calling the Art Center at 942-2278.

The Calistoga Art Center works to provide creative opportunities, support arts education and to develop a growing artistic cultural economy.

Programming includes visual and performing arts. They offer free adult courses in drawing, painting and ceramics. Visit www.calistogaartcenter.org for more information.
