Studio II Gallery opens “El Dia de Los Muertos” a celebration of hispanic art and culture, with a gala reception Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Music and food will be offered, as well as special auction events. There’s no admission charge.

Participating artists include guest co-curators, Juan Diaz and David Alosi, and Ruth Ancona, Shelley Alger, Adriana Arriaga, Nick Cann, Peggy Cann, Hedi Desuyo, Erick Quiroz, Arturo Ramos, Diane Dame Shepp, Thea Witsil and Ron Zak.
This special exhibit will be open until Nov. 22 during regular gallery hours, Thursday through Monday, 11a.m. to 5 p.m.
