The eighth Presidents Cup will be contested at Harding Park Golf Club in San Francisco Oct. 5-11. San Francisco is only the second U.S. city selected to host the event and the first location on the West Coast.

The Presidents Cup is a team match play competition featuring 24 of the world’s top golfers — 12 from the U.S. and 12 from around the world, excluding Europe — that is held every two years and since 1996 has alternated between the U.S. and international venues.

U.S. team captain Fred Couples and International team captain Greg Norman are both major championship winners and have played in The Presidents Cup during their stellar careers.
