Clang, clang, clang went the trolley...

What will Yountville do with the old downtown Napa trolley? Will it charge for rides?

What would Judy Garland say?
Yountville Town Manager Steve Rogers said ‘no.’

I think Judy would be pleased.
Rogers said that the town wouldn’t be doing anything with the trolley that it isn’t already doing with a free VINE shuttle. The trolley will take riders without charge to or from the Veterans Home of California and its various attractions — including the Lincoln Theater and the Napa Valley Museum — and the heart of town, with its restaurants and shops.

Rogers said the look and the feel of the trolley is also in keeping with the town of Yountville, with its historic old structures and small-town ways. “The trolley will be a positive asset and a fun attraction for locals and visitors alike.”
All aboard!

" Will it be ok to park at the Veteran's home parking lot, then ride the trolley to town? Sometimes it's hard to get a space close to where you want to eat/shop etc. "
