JaMarcus Russell is going to be the starting quarterback for the Oakland Raiders when the regular season begins.

The team still has Jeff Garcia, Bruce Gradkowski and Charlie Frye on the roster.
Who would you choose as starter if you made the call?

Who do you want as the Oakland Raiders staring Quarterback?(survey)

" I believe JaMarcus SHOULD be the starter, but obviously, they aren't going to keep all four of these guys. I'm not much of a Jeff Garcia fan, but I believe his experience is needed in the quarterback cue. I have been impressed by Bruce Gradkowski more than Charlie Frye though, making Charlie Frye becoming the odd man out. If it weren't for Garcia's experience, he would definitely be the odd person out, as I believe Frye has more potential than Garcia in production for the team. "

" Does it really matter? They are not going to win anyway. Let Russell start if you believe he is your future but Garcia is the only proven winner. "

" Jamarcus Russell is a bust, once again the Raiders get all wrapped up in a QB that all he has is the ability to throw the ball far. Not a team leader, no touch and can't read defenses. Put Garcia in there if you want to win. "

" What the Raiders need is a Leader and im not sure Russell is our MAN. Gotta go with Garcia and don't wait tooooo long.He is a Proven leader....Its not easy for me to say that. "

" BR has got it right.give it two games before someone wakes up and puts in Garcia. As for losing due to AL,he's not on the field getting his butt handed to him every week.Players have got to step up and make plays.J Russ is a bust...let's face it.
Watch Garcia lead tonight against Seatle "

" It's tough listening to Monday Night Football broadcasters slamming your QB but they were right. Russell is a dog! Jack Russell is more like it.... Jeff Garcia would have thrown for at least 2 more TD's and probably 3. Raider receivers were WIDE OPEN. "
