What stores would you like to see in downtown Napa?

As Register writer Kevin Courtney's article states, the city of Napa is spending nearly $100,000 to have a consultant come up with a plan for filling 105,000 square feet of new commercial space and another 76,000 square feet in older buildings that sit empty.

Walk through downtown Napa and you'll see all those empty storefronts.

If you are like me, you've looked at some and wondered what type of business you could open in one of those spaces. For me, I've thought about having another coffeehouse -- as I did in the late 90s in a different city --  across the street from the new Avia hotel or in one of a number of locations.

Maybe you've thought about what type of store you'd like to see so you could stop in and shop there.

Come on, tell us what types of stores would make you come downtown to shop.
