A Napa man was arrested Tuesday after police say he arrived at a former girlfriend’s residence and forced his way into the apartment.

At about 10:30 p.m., Napa police responded to the 100 block of Freeway Drive regarding a disturbance. They contacted Joseph Armando Ammenti, 30, outside of the residence. He consented to him and his vehicle being searched, which turned up a set of brass knuckles.
Ammenti was arrested and booked at the Napa County jail for suspected possession of an illegal weapon and vandalism.

" If she doesn't want him there, and he forces his way in, he is an intruder no matter who he used to be. Stop trying to minimize the issue of violence against women. "

" Dirty Napkin, You must be male from your comments. Check the statistics...women are way more likely to be attacked and or harmed by an ex or someone they know opposed to a stranger. Did you write this just so people would get angry with your comments or are you really serious? I hope its not the latter. "
