Yountville names new public works chief

The Town of Yountville has announced the appointment of Graham Wadsworth as public works director and town engineer. Selected from more than 25 applicants, Wadsworth currently works for the city of Pinole as assistant city engineer, where he has worked on projects such as the $3 million Pinole Creek Demonstration Project, a $1.4 million solar panel system project, a $1.2 million pavement project, and several sewer system projects.

Wadsworth worked in the private sector for several years and, for more than 10 years, worked for the city of Napa in numerous engineering positions, including senior civil engineer. During that time he helped build bridges for the Napa River Flood Protection Project.

“I am looking forward to coming to the town of Yountville and working with the citizens and staff to accomplish town goals,” Wadsworth said. “Yountville is a beautiful place with a lot to offer, and I am excited about becoming a part of the team.”

Yountville Town Manager Steve Rogers said, “Graham’s experience with a wide range of civil engineering projects, water and wastewater utility facilities, and knowledge of Napa County made him the logical choice to serve as our next public works director and lead our public works department staff to meet the challenges and opportunities facing the town of Yountville.”
