Napa Valley Inline Roadskate Sunday
The Napa Valley Inline Roadskate will be held on Sunday, June 28, on a seven-mile portion of the Silverado Trail from Oak Knoll Ave. to Oakville Cross Road.
The event will be closed to traffic from 7 to 10 a.m. for the event. Skaters of all ages and ability levels are welcome.

Upvalley softball tourney this Sunday
The Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga Recreation Departments present the inaugural Upvalley Summer Classic Softball Tournament.
The men’s tournament will be this Sunday, June 28, with the co-ed version to be held on July 19. The day will feature games, food and raffles.
Games start at 9 a.m. at Logvy Field in Calistoga. All proceeds will go toward summer camps programs in Calistoga, St. Helena and Yountville.
Tee Off Fore Kids Golf Invitational July 10
The Active 20-30 Club of Napa is hosting the inaugural Tee Off Fore Kids Golf Invitational on Friday, July 10, at Eagle Vines Vineyards and Golf Club.
Check-in will be 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon. There will be a shotgun start and scramble format play beginning at 1:30 p.m. There will be a dinner and reception at 6 p.m.

All proceeds benefit Napa County Children’s Charities.
The Active 20-30 Club of Napa is a service club dedicated to serving the special needs of children in the community since 1930. The club’s annual events include the George Carl Kids Fishing Derby, Easter Egg Hunt, Fun Fest, Napa Town & Country Fair Parade and Project Santa.

Adult Education golf classes start July 13
Napa Valley Adult Education is offering a series of five-week beginning and intermediate golf classes at Vintner’s Golf Club in Yountville.
The cost for the entire five-week session is $97.
Beginning golf classes meet Monday or Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., starting July 13 or 14.
Intermediate golf classes meet Wednesday or Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., starting July 15 or 16.

Napa Golf Course instruction this summer
Napa Golf Course will offer couples golf lessons for men and women of all ability levels July 11-Aug. 8, Aug. 15-Sept. 12, and Sept. 19-Oct. 17.
The fee is $150 per couple for five one-hour Saturday sessions, which each start at 10 a.m. Classes are limited to the first four couples that register.
Other instructional opportunities:
• The Ladies Night Out clinic provides one hour of instruction to the beginner or novice, followed by wine and cheese at Jack’s Bar and Grille.
It meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays. Sessions are July 20-Aug. 17, and Aug. 24-Oct. 5.
The cost is $89 per session.
• For the Ladies Sunday Clinic, participants must have completed a Ladies Night Out clinic or have more knowledge than a beginner. It will run from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Sundays. The remaining dates are Aug. 9-Sept. 6, and Sept. 20-Oct. 4 and Oct. 18. The cost is $89.
• A Junior “Rookies” Camp is for players ages 6-11 who have limited or no knowledge of the game. The fee is $99 for the course, which runs July 7-10 from 1 to 2 p.m. daily.
• The Juniors “Next Level” clinic will target the intermediate junior who would like to be more competitive by learning course management and strategy and building on a strong fundamental base. Students will have the opportunity to play on the course. The fee is $109 for four one-hour classes.
The dates are July 14-17 and Aug. 4-7, from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. each day.
