Traffic stop lands Napa man in jail

On Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m., Geovanni Soto Munoz, 25, was stopped for a traffic violation at Soscol and Lincoln avenues.
During the stop, Munoz consented to be searched and he was found to have a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe. While being taken to the Napa County jail, he attempted to conceal a small bag of methamphetamine in the back seat of the patrol vehicle, police said.
Munoz was arrested on suspicion of transporting a controlled substance, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, violation of parole and driving on a suspended license
