Summer heat got you down? How about a sizzling weekend of painting with Helen Wilson and Nancy Willis up in the cool studios at Nimbus Arts?

Helen and I will run you through an obstacle course of painting, while giving you delicious food and drink to boost your spirits and energy.

The Below the Painted Surface workshop runs

• July 17, 5 to 8 p.m.;

• July 18, 9:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.

• July 19, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The $375 fee Includes wine and hors d’oeuvres, breakfast, lunch, instruction and most supplies.
