A Napa man was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and resisting arrest Sunday after he allegedly slammed a woman’s arm in a car door.

Jason Slusher, 28, of Napa was arguing with a woman on Homewood Avenue at about 6 p.m. Sunday, according to Napa Police. When the victim tried to drive away, Slusher reportedly slammed the car door on her arm.
The woman was taken by a friend to Queen of the Valley Hospital, where she was treated for a possible fractured arm. Slusher also went to the hospital, according to police, but when he saw police officers, he tried to flee.

Slusher was caught and booked at the Napa County Department of Corrections.
