Kennard anniversary

William and Judith Kennard of Napa celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 13, 2009, at the couple’s home. The celebration included many close friends and family. Warm wishes, along with good food, wine and champagne, made for a delightful afternoon.

They couple was originally married on June 14,1959.

Bill and Judy were both raised in Vallejo and met when Bill and Judy were in high school. Judy had an Austin-Healey and no driver’s license. Bill had a driver’s license and was more than willing to chauffeur Judy around. Bill continues to chauffeur Judy and the Austin-Healey has long since been retired.

Bill and Judy have two daughters, Leslie Gates of Napa and Lisa Rusin of Kingman, Ariz., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
