" Gene and Shirley were a special part of my life. As a child, I remember many trips with them to Vichy Springs, many bowling parties and card nights, to name a few. In many ways, they influenced my life and showed unconditional love over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. "

" I 1st met Gene nearly 20 years ago at Napa Bowl, he & I were on first name basis and always greated me with a friendly handshake and always talked about the lanes @ Napa Bowl, I will always remember Gene in my heart on and off the lanes at Napa Bowl. Thanks for the exciting memories Gene, you'll be missed by Danny & Jason and myself and your loving family and your Napa Bowl family. Gene was like my 2nd father in my life, because he touched my heart and the Napa Special Olympics bowling hearts for bowling in his bowling alley on and off the lanes. Thanks again Gene, you will always be in my heart and prayers. Love your friend always, Timmy "
