All it took for Justin Clayton after a six-hour trip north along U.S. 101 to Ferndale last November was to take a look at the visiting bleachers.

Harley’s Waterproofing defeated Fairfield Bats, 4-2, to win the Area 53 Little League Tournament of Champions at Garfield Park. The win capped a 5-0 tournament run. Harley’s finished 15-1 in the regular season and 21-3 overall. That team was made up of: Kyle Sager, Nolan Brown, Ezyrah Villanueva, Adam Phillips, Mario Llamas, Aric Cortez, Jordan Abernathy, Blake Jacques, Justin Harp, Jose Gonzalez, Bennett Shaw and Talia Rizzo.  The team was led by manager Dennis Cooney and assistant Coaches Jose Cortez and Robert Jacques.  Submitted photo
