In Friday’s qualifying for today’s Camping World Series West race, the Bennett Lane Winery 200, Napa 18-year-old Brad Lloyd qualified 35th for the 40-car field.

Four cars did not qualify at Sonoma’s Infineon Raceway.
“We got in the show,” said Dave Lloyd, the 2009 Vintage High graduate’s father.

“Brad ran his fastest lap ever in the (2007 Ford Fusion).”
Lloyd will compete in the race, his first NASCAR event, at 12:30 p.m. today.
