SCAC baseball stars dump MEL’s finest
Senior baseball stars from the Monticello Empire League and Solano County Athletic Conference faced off on Monday, with the the SCAC taking the victory, 12-4, at Yarbrough Field in Fairfield’s Laurel Creek Park. Vanden’s Jesse Savage had a triple, a home run and two RBIs to lead the SCAC. Arizona State-bound Andrew Aplin, also from Vanden, struck out four in two innings pitched.
