Could Copia be the taco the town?

Dear editor, recently, I have read suggestions about what to do with the remnants of the failed, bankrupt Copia. Here are my thoughts.
My suggestion would be to open an attraction that would fully represent the contemporary Napa culinary scene. It would be called (drum roll please) The International Taco Truck Hall of Fame and Museum. The Hall of Fame would honor taco truck pioneers and current taco truck owners. Every year there would be a ceremony for the latest inductees. The museum portion would display taco trucks from the earliest carts, to modern taco trucks to the prototypes of the “Taco Truck of Tomorrow!” There would be a food court where visitors could buy authentic taco truck food and a gift shop featuring models of popular taco trucks for the “little ones” to play with.
Personally, I really don’t care what anyone wants to do with the corpse of Copia so long as taxpayer expenditures on someone’s dreams and visions are zero. If the people putting forth these ideas are prepared to fully fund them on their own, I say “Go for it!” Somehow, I don’t think this is what they had in mind. I imagine they expect me (and you) to chip in our “fair share” to help them achieve their own personal slice of heaven, which no one will use or visit — just like the original Copia!
They used to call Cleveland Municipal Stadium “The Mistake By The Lake.” Enlightened Clevelanders finally bulldozed the stadium. It’s time to start thinking of doing the same to our “Mistake By the River.” And, yeah, I know it doesn’t rhyme.
