Mike McDaniel of Napa scored a nice tom turkey on a muddy, rainy, early-morning hunt in Gordon Valley with his uncle, Gary McDaniel. His gobbler weighed in at 20.5 pounds, with an 81⁄4-inch beard and 1-inch spurs.
