Cinco De Mayo at Napa Valley College
Napa Valley College’s annual celebration of Cinco De Mayo starts at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5 in the college quad, with Mariachi International Azteca followed by a singing performance by Lina Montero, piñatas for children, NVC student singers and DJ Xcess. A dance performance and NVC’s Ballet Folklorico will also be featured. A food sale begins at 11 a.m. The history of Cinco de Mayo will be shared at 12:15 p.m. followed by a procession of the Color Guard. The celebration will continue until 2 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
