Makenzie Miller threw a two-hitter and the Napa High softball team supported her with two three-run rallies in a 6-1 home win over Wood on Wednesday.

The Crushers absorbed a heartbreaking MEL road loss on Wednesday after taking a 4-3 lead into the seventh inning.

The Crushers improved to 9-7 overall with Wednesday’s victory at the Will C. Wood Tournament in Vacaville.
