Wind turbines: A promising alternative for Napa
Can Napa become a leader in alternative energy technology? Can we take the high road on energy conservation, while preparing our communities for a sustainable future? Not only can our future be brighter but there are multiple high roads to be taken to make this a reality today. Building green and sustainable is but one of many paths we can take. Harnessing solar energy is another. Wind turbines are one of many avenues we should explore to make our valley more independent of carbon depletion.

Create a place for teens to hang out
Dear editor, In Napa, the only places for teenagers to hang out are the skate park and the movie theater. Personally, these places do not appeal to me. I believe that there should be more places where teens can hang, out that are safe and supervised.
Ups and downs as Mervyn's disappears
Dear editor, I believe that removing Mervyns, a downtown legacy, has its ups and downs. Its ups are that Mervyns is gone. While it may have been a big part of some families’ lives, it was also a big crime scene for Napa teens.
