Vintage prevailed over Elk Grove Wednesday behind the outstanding pitching of freshman Alex Ridling.

JV Baseball: Napa 6, Vintage 3

Napa (7-5 overall, 3-2 Monticello Empire League) defeated Vintage Thursday in the first of three Big Game match-ups.

JV Golf: Marin Catholic 227, Justin-Siena 236

Elliott Stratton (44), Chris Somers (46), Eric Locken (47), Clark Carston (49), Brandon Shamieh (50) and Dwight Boyko (non-scoring 51) played for the Braves in a Marin County Athletic League match at the Meadow Club in Fairfax.

Rebecca Steen’s goal in the last five minutes of the first half got Napa’s offense going in a Monticello Empire League game at the Raider field.
