The cheerleaders work hard in learning cheers, stunts, and dances to be used at different events. The Napa Valley Swim Team recently hosted it’s annual Short Course C/B/A+ meet Feb. 20-22 at the Napa Valley College. Over 31 teams and 680 swimmers attended the meet. There were many outstanding swims and new time standards achieved.

Nate Silverman and his brother and were out at the Sea Ranch on a recent outing when he hooked this 68-inch sturgeon following a 30-minute battle. Its estimated weight was between 55 and 60 pounds.  The trip was Silverman’s first time fishing for sturgeon.
