NOTES AND QUOTES for a Tuesday in the Napa Valley:
Napa County and the City of Napa will honor Justin-Siena High School, the CIF North Coast Section Division IV champion which went 9-4 during the 2008 football season, in separate ceremonies.
Head coach Rich Cotruvo and the Braves — who beat St. Patrick/St. Vincent-Vallejo (34-19), Ferndale (22-15) and Salesian-Richmond (28-14) in consecutive playoff games — will be honored at a proclamation ceremony by the Napa County Board of Supervisors this morning at 9 a.m. at the County Administration Building.

The city of Napa will honor the Braves with a key to the city during a Napa City Council meeting on Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. in City Council chambers.
