Joey Williams scored 24 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and had six assists for the winners.
Varsity Girls Basketball: Trinity Prep 51, Freedom Christian 18
Marissa Streett scored 17 points and Jessica Friedlander added nine for the Crusaders (2-0 Northern Pacific League, 8-5). Anna Arend had eight points and Maureen Muth six for Trinity Prep. Barbara Bakh had four steals.

Jessica Birney had six points and Lourdes Hernandez five as the injury-depleted Napa Christian club fell to the defending Small School Bridge League champions.
Freshman Boys Basketball: Vintage 73, Woodland 52
Jordan Martin made five 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 17 points for Vintage (10-3 overall), which won its fifth straight game to wrap up preseason play. J Nicolis had 15 points.
