Dr. Richard E. and Doris I. (Turner) Panzer were married 60 years ago, on Dec. 26, 2008. They were married in El Sobrante in 1948 at the groom’s parents’ home while both were students at the then College of the Pacific. The following years saw the couple move to Richmond, Va., and have a son, David, in 1954.
