Dear editor,

My husband and I appreciated Ms. Dorgan’s kind article (“Connecting worlds in a Calistoga school,” Dec. 22) about our tutoring efforts at the Calistoga elementary school. However there are a few statements in the article that are not accurate. At the time that I was in college, the University of San Francisco was a men’s college which I would not have been eligible to attend. I am a graduate of the University of California in Berkeley. Go Bears!
