ZD Wines honors its founder’s legacy during December with events to benefit lymphoma cancer research.

During December ZD Wines will donate 50 percent of its winery retail proceeds to the UC Davis deLeuze Family Endowment Fund, which supports research for a non-toxic cure for lymphoma cancer. Over the last two years the endowment has raised more than $650,000 with a goal of reaching $1,000,000.
Norman deLeuze, a founding partner of ZD Wines who lost his battle with cancer in October of 2007, collaborated with oncologist, Dr. Joseph Tuscano of UC Davis Cancer Center to raise awareness for non-traditional approaches to treating this disease.

Saturday, Dec. 6, Dr. Tuscano will be at the winery to answer questions regarding his research from 11 a.m. to noon. This lecture and reception is followed by a wine tasting and book signing of “Passion for Pinot” with photographers, Robert Holmes and Andrea Johnson, who are donating $1 for every copy of the book sold through ZD Wines to the endowment.
The tasting and booksigning is noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person and complimentary for First Taste Members. Purchase tickets on line at www.zdwines.com

Dec. 8, Seasons Restaurant presents a wine dinner hosted by the deLeuze family and Dr. Tuscano to celebrate the Season of Giving. Seasons Restaurant will donate $1 per glass of ZD Wine sold during the month of December. For information, visit www.zdwines.com or call 800-487-7757.
