Stacey Grimm and Ely Lopez, of Napa, were married Oct. 14, 2008, in Cancun, Mexico, at the Dreams Resort and Spa. Thirty-six guests joined the couple to celebrate the wedding. The groom’s grandfather performed the service.

Longtime friend Shanna Zanone was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Michelle Choat and the bride’s cousin, Judith Simmons. Longtime friend Tyler Nelson was the best man. Groomsmen included David Renz, Lorin Brambilla and Grant Long.
After the wedding, the couple honeymooned for two weeks in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Stacey is the daughter of Brigette Gheno and Larry Grimm, step-daughter of AJ Frommelt, and granddaughter of the late George and Judy Grimm. She is a 2001 graduate of Napa High School and attended Chico State University. She works for Napa Valley Insurance as an insurance agent.
Ely is the son of Gordon and Krista Lopez, of Napa, and grandson of Paul and Marlene Larson, of Yuba City, Mary Martel, of Sacramento, and of the late Ruben Lopez. He is a 1999 graduate of Vintage High School and a 2004 graduate of UC Davis, where he obtained a degree in sociology: organizational studies. He works for Collotype Labels in Napa.
