St. John’s Lutheran School sponsored a special presentation by Scott Cassell, CEO and founder of the Undersea Voyager Project, a nonprofit organization that advances scientific knowledge and understanding of the Oceans.

Jennifer Lieu-Chi Harkins and John Patrick Dubrawski, of Los Angeles, were married Oct. 9, 2008, in Napa. The couple then celebrated at Domaine Carneros and Artesa wineries.

Miss Courtney Brooke Owyeong and Mr. Sean Thomas Gresik were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 30, at four o’clock in the afternoon, at an oceanside ceremony at Seagrove Park, in Del Mar.

CHAVEZ-MARTINEZ — Juan Carlos Chavez, 33, Napa, to Denise Ann Martinez, 28, Napa.

Stacey Grimm and Ely Lopez, of Napa, were married Oct. 14, 2008, in Cancun, Mexico, at the Dreams Resort and Spa. Thirty-six guests joined the couple to celebrate the wedding. The groom’s grandfather performed the service.
